How To Get Rid Of A Acne

How To Get Rid Of A Zit   by Besido Sinclair

It’s pretty safe to say that nobody likes Acne. I know I don’t and I’m guessing you don’t either if you’re reading this article. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter how many times you washed your face yesterday, you can still have a blemish today. I know, It just isn’t fair, so I’m going to do more than tell you how to get rid of a zit. I’m going to tell you What Causes Acne and how can you prevent it in the first place.

Acne is not caused by poor hygiene! Many people believe this to be the case so they over-wash their skin. Washing too frequently can strip the skin of its natural oils, oftentimes causing additional blemishes. Junk food does not necessarily cause breakouts either. While some people may be affected by certain foods there isn’t really any scientific evidence to connect any particular foods to acne. Everyone is different.

The human face has millions of tiny hair follicles, each containing tiny hairs that are (for the most part) invisible to the naked eye. These follicles act as pores for your body, exuding several substances such as water from sweat glands, natural skin oils, and even a fatty liquid sebum. All of this is fine and natural as long as these liquids continue to flow all the way out of the follicles. Now where the problem occurs is when the stuff gets stuck below the surface of the skin, backing up and producing a whitehead. If the back up actually breaks through the top layer of skin, coming into contact with air, the oxygen will turn it into a blackhead.

Pressure then builds up, stretching the walls of the follicle. More often than not, this allows bacteria to reproduce in the follicle. If the follicle ruptures the immune system will retaliate by attacking the foreign matter; all this causing the surrounding area of skin to become inflamed.

Pimples are inevitable because your skin is constantly exposed to air which is full of dust particles, fungi and other pollutants. Sensitive skin however, can be even more prone to breakouts because of reactions to your diet, skin-care products and hormone fluctuations. This is where it becomes a chronic problem where genetic disposition seems to be the major factor. About 60 million people around the world fall into this sensitive skin category and most don’t know how to treat it properly.

Just about every over the counter Acne Medication contains one of the following two ingredients:

Benzoyl Peroxide: Kills bacteria that can cause infection

Salicylic Acid: Helps unclog pores

While there are 1 step products on the market containing these chemicals that can help, for most cases they simply aren’t enough. Not to mention that if you are reading this you probably have used some of them already and just don’t know it. What proves most effective is a complete skin care system. Acne is best treated from all angles. For example, I use a product that includes an all natural herbal supplement that attacks acne from the inside as well. I’ll include link or two in my bio box if you need any recommendations.

I think we all can agree that acne should not be dismissed as a mere inconvenience and left untreated. It is much more sensible to treat it immediately to avoid emotional stress and permanent scarring. Breakouts are embarrassing and can affect your confidence, pride and esteem. This is just as true for men as it is for women.

I know that everyone wants a quick way to get rid of a zit. First of all, Never poke, prod, squeeze, scratch, or pop
